Honey Nut Granola

Yield: 20

4 cups rolled oats

1 cup sliced almonds

1 cup chopped pecans

1 cup raw sunflower seeds

1/3 cup canola oil

1/2 cup honey

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tbsp. ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, stir together oats, nuts and sunflower seeds. In a separate bowl, combine oil, honey, vanilla and cinnamon; mix well. Add honey mixture to dry ingredients; mix well. Spread mixture onto (2) ungreased baking sheets lined with foil.
  2. Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes, remove from oven and stir. Return to coven and continue baking until golden, about 10 minutes more. Remove from oven and cool completely before storing.
