Juicy Apple Crisp

1/2 cup regular oats

2 1/2 tbsp. Splenda Brown Sugar Blend

1 tbsp. all-purpose flour

1 1/2 tbsp. Smart Balance Light Buttery Spread, divided

1 tbsp. thawed apple juice concentrate

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon


8 cups sliced, peeled Granny Smith apples, (about 2 lbs.)

2 tbsp. Splenda Granulated Sugar for Cooking & Baking

1 tbsp. cornstarch

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 cup thawed apple juice concentrate

2 tbsp. water

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. To Prepare Topping – combine (6) topping ingredients; stir well. Set aside.
  3. To Prepare Filling – place apple slices in an 11 x 7-inch baking dish. Combine sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon in a small bowl;┬ásprinkle over apples. Pour 1/4 cup apple juice concentrate and water over apple mixture. Top with oat mixture. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown. Let stand 15 minute. Serve with yogurt or ice cream.
